Occupational therapy (OT) is a science degree-based, health and social care profession, regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council. Occupational Therapy takes a “whole-person approach” to both mental and physical health and wellbeing and enables individuals to achieve their full potential.

Christian Cassar is an experienced and achieved Occupational Therapist with a specialist focus on complex manual handling practice and training services, he is highly competent in creative problem solving via assessment and equipment provision, formal/informal carer assessment training and single handed care.
Christian has over 8 years experience working as an Occupational Therapist with a clinical history including special needs education, inpatient/outpatient hospital physical rehab, discharge planning, social services case management and moving and handling of people and hoist training.
Christian is well experienced in both at home and community settings with a particular interest in specialist equipment, single handed care, and the moving and handling of people.
He is dedicated to using strong clinical reasoning with a proactive approach to facilitate independence and an increase in quality of life, as well as ensure care and support workers are well prepared with the skills necessary to deliver a quality service to those who need it most.
Christian is a member of the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) registered Occupational Therapist and member of the College of Occupational Therapists and National Back Exchange.
